Biography

Hugo's research focuses on the origin and structure of moral judgments. Initially digging in the field of moral psychology to understand their emergence and evolution, his attention has now shifted to economics, in which he investigate on the role of morality. Currently doing master studies in philosophy at the University of Sherbrooke, Hugo is interested in business ethics. Notably, he seeks a better understanding of the issues created by ethical normativity within a neoliberal economic system.

Distinctions

  • Laureate of the 2020 Prix du Recteur, given annually to the most distinguish  athlete student of the University of Sherbrooke
  • Recipient of the Canadian Academic Stars of the University of Sherbrooke   from 2016 to 2020
