Biography

Jordan is fond of analytic philosophy since his first year as an undergraduate student. At first interested in how language reaches the world, he is now more interested in what separates them. He came to wonder how language can shape our understanding of the world, and, according to how this first question is answered, how we can use linguistic normativity to improve our epistemological stances. In a more general fashion, Jordan plans on developing skills in logic and epistemology. He believes philosophy can provide practical tools in life and reasoning.
